Our team is currently looking for a skilled and motivated HR Generalist/Office Manager in the Ventura, CA area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for a highly visible role with in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

Who you are:

As the HR Generalist/Office Manager you will report to the VP of Accounting and serve as a key contributor to the office and culture at Flying Embers. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and have the ability to work collaboratively across functions.

Your Role:

· Recruiting activities including interviewing, onboarding and orientation.

· Offboarding activities and maintaining personnel files.

· Process payroll bi-weekly and semi-monthly timely and accurately.

· Assists in ensuring company policies and practices are compliant with federal, state and local employment laws.

· Provides administrative support for trainings, employee events, annual meetings and other related activities.

· Maintain a well-organized and stocked office environment.

· Assist the office and VP of Accounting with other tasks as needed.

Your Skills and Experience

· Bachelor's degree preferred.

· Bilingual a plus (English & Spanish)

· At least 3 years of experience in human resources

· Passion for office management & employee support

· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Entrepreneurial mindset.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
